Peking University (PKU ) Guanghua School of Management (Guanghua) is among the most selective business schools in Asia and is an active contributor to the 124-year tradition of academic excellence at Peking University, China’s first national university. Since Guanghua’s founding in 1985, it has served as a nexus for international exchange and currently partners with more than 130 top-tier universities worldwide on both teaching and research programs. The caliber of Guanghua’s 116 full-time faculty members and 4,000 students make us well-positioned to adapt to shifting global business trends and solve pressing social challenges. Not only do we attract China’s brightest students, our graduates regularly go on to become senior government officials and executives at leading companies both in China and abroad. Our faculty are also highly integrated in the international academic and business communities, with over 75% of faculty members receiving their Ph.D. degrees from top-ranked institutions in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. They regularly publish research in the world’s most prestigious academic journals, serve as advisors and board members for multinational corporations, and support China’s national economic policymaking. Faculty also incorporate their research into our full suite of rigorous management education programs, including undergraduate, MBA, EMBA, doctoral, and Executive Education programs. Guanghua has pioneered efforts to align China’s education system with international norms. We were the first in China to institute practices preventing academic inbreeding in faculty recruitment, were the first to introduce the tenure-track system for faculty promotions and are among the exceedingly few Schools in China with English-language programs at the undergraduate, Master’s, and Ph.D. levels.

Launched in 2006, the Doing Business in China Program is a two or three-week international exchange program with an integrated curriculum that emphasizes the business practices that define the "real China". Over the past 18 years, Guanghua's DBIC program has involved more than 3000 students from over 40 countries and regions. Guanghua's targeted graduate students have worked closely with global partners, including the Wharton School, NYU Stern, Kellogg School of Management, Chicago Booth, Duke Fuqua, LSE, ESADE, NUS, Melbourne Business School, HKU, and more.

DBIC leverages Guanghua's extensive network to offer region-specific courses for participants to gain a deeper understanding of China's diverse economic and business environment. You will complete pre-program online courses designed to help you formulate questions and begin to bond with your cohort so that you can better leverage your time studying with us in China. In addition to our standardized open programs, we also offer customized courses for partner institutions worldwide.
